Loudspeaker systems
Our loudspeaker system consisted of two systems to deliver specific elements of the show. The main system was centred around the boxing ring / main stage with an additional system at the end stage for localistation to the main LED screen.

CENTRAL K2 SYSTEM
Six arrays of 15
The main system consisted of a pair of K2 arrays on the East, South and West faces of the stage for coverage of the majority of audience. The six arrays used a total of 90 K2 powered in pairs with amplifiers flown from the grid.

DOWN FILL SYSTEMS
Multiple A15 arrays
The first 6m of audience seating was covered with eight arrays of A15. Seven of the arrays consisted of a pair of A15-Focus over a single A15-Wide. The North A15 array had an additional Focus due to the larger audience area.

CORNER FILL ARRAYS
Kara II arrays filling the horizontal gaps
Four arrays of nine Kara II were used to provide fill between the pairs of K2 arrays. The Kara lines were located on the four corners of the loudspeaker arrangement and configured to their narrow horizontal coverage.

SUB-BASS ARRAY
Single source
The sub-bass for the main system was delivered with a single column of 12 KS28 subwoofers in the centre of the loudspeaker arrangement.

END STAGE SYSTEM
Localisation to the main LED
This system was used for sound effects to provide localisation for the audience to the main LED screen. The system consisted of two arrays of 16 K2 and a sub-bass array of 8 KS28.

Audio Control System

Mixing systems
We used a pair of DiGiCo Quantum 7 consoles, one for the ceremony and one for sport. The signal distribution system consisted of multiple DiGiCo SD Racks for inputs and various Optocore network devices distributing the outputs to LA-Rack's around the venue.

Show control and replay system
We used a dual-redundant pair of Ovation systems by Merging Technologies. The system consists of a purpose-built Windows 10 computer running Ovation, the Horus audio interface delivering 128-channels via MADI and the Ovation keyboard for each system.
