Auditoria Recognised at AV Industry Awards for London 2012 Ceremonies

We’re proud to share that Auditoria has been recognised at the AV Industry Awards, winning in the category of Best Application of AV in a Production with a Budget Exceeding $500,000 for our work on the London 2012 Olympic Games ceremonies.

The AV Industry Awards (AVIA) celebrate standout achievement in audio-visual design and integration, recognising the most forward-thinking applications of AV technology across global projects. To be selected by the AVIA judging panel is a real honour, especially for a project as technically demanding and creatively ambitious as London 2012.

The award celebrates innovation, precision, and delivery at scale, all core to the way we approach live event audio design. For London, the brief was to create an unforgettable sound experience in one of the most iconic stadium settings in the world.

To make that happen, we led a multi-year design and coordination effort that pushed well beyond traditional stadium audio. One of the technical breakthroughs involved designing a bespoke tension ring system to position the main speaker arrays 20 metres beyond the stadium roofline, creating immersive, full-stadium coverage without compromising sightlines or aesthetics.
